Giving Back this Holiday Season

In our blog posts, we usually like to give advice or tips for how to save and best manage your money. But this month we wanted to do something a little different. 2020 has been a rough year on many people and there is no shortage of people needing assistance. If you have had a good year financially, we highly encourage you to consider donating to local programs in your community.

At CES Credit Union, we have donated our time and resources towards the efforts at Salvation Army both in monetary donations and in serving hot meals to our community, conducted a stuffing drive and turkey donation through Interchurch Social Services in Knox County, and accepted non-perishable food donations for the food pantry at Highpoint Community Outreach in Delaware County.

These are just a few of the ways that our CES family has decided to give back this holiday season. There are plenty of other ways to give back locally and we encourage you to find a program that has a special meaning to you. There are many local programs that accept food, clothes, toy, or even monetary donations. Anything you can give can make a big impact in the happiness of someone in your community!

It takes all of us to build a stronger community and we ask that this holiday season you help build up your community as much as reasonably possible.

All of us at CES Credit Union wish you and yours a Happy Holiday!
