Similar to a check and often used for paying bills and invoices, money orders can be for any amount up to $1000.
Money orders are $1.00 each at every CES Credit Union center. Cash or approved available funds are required to pay for the money order.
Use caution when accepting money orders for payment for any good or service, as many reports of "counterfeit" money orders have been circulated. Check with the issuer (like a bank or credit union) of the money order to see if a money order is indeed valid.
Stamps are getting any cheaper, and you can't beat the speed of our Bill Pay service, a module of the ACCESS Online service. You can direct one-time and recurring (like every month) payments to national companies or local vendors or even individuals. Vary the dates and amounts in a instant. Look for the Bill Pay icon when you sign in through ACCESS Online.
Over 1000 statements are delivered monthly through the safe and convenient e-statement service. Members receive an email notification on or near the first of each month notifying them that their monthly or quarterly statement is now available in an electronic format. The member can (at his or her leisure) log into a secure server to view, print or download the statement. There is also an archive of past statements for up to a year or more, so the member can retrieve past statements as well.
The service is free and safe. You are given a password initially, and then you can change the password to use to retrieve your statement when you want. Safeguards are built into the system to preserve the integrity of your account.
Once you complete the Application for e-statement and return it to CES Credit Union, an email confirmation will be sent to you along with a password/passcode for you to use. (We advise that you go to the e-statement secure server website and change the password/passcode immediately to something you can remember.)
Monthly, your notification that the e-statement is ready will be sent to you along with the link to the e-statement secure server website. if you encounter a problem, here are some links to help you....
